The electronic music as shared the scene of the events for more than 30 years. Each style advances on the same road; that of evolution, awakening, sharing. This music, by each of its subcategories, carries in it a story, a conscience and flows in our path to awaken us to new horizons. It is a vital lead, a main door into a self-awareness trip towards a universal conscience. It has for mission to propel us towards a world of truth, a world of creations in the essence of a world built by the good and for the good.

DJ Mike McCarthy is an artist and because of is willpower; he is obviously a messenger of Trance and House. Now professional in the Art of handling the mixing console transposes by his musical choices, the aroma of his energy, and the harmony of a musical melody. This harmony brings a truth to life, the movements of a dance, danced by thousands of us.

Born in 1977 in the heart of Sept-Iles, a small town of Quebec in Canada, Michael McCarthy refined his musical tastes with the passing of years. At this moment, his interests move especially towards Uplifting Trance, Progressive Trance, Vocal Trance and Progressive House. Each of his subcategories, express by the electronic music, are characterized by energetic rhythms, gliding but also, by their very dynamic and invigorating tempos.

Since November 2009, he is now a resident of on one of the largest Internet radio specialize in Trance music, Sense.FM, with the broadcast of Tranceptions presented on each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.

In the constant search of great support to enhance his career, DJ Mike McCarthy works closely with Unik Productions since the beginning of 2010. Several private and corporate events have marked this collaboration.

His favorite artists include some of the biggest names on the international scene, such as Simon Patterson, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, John O'Callaghan, Above & Beyond and Sean Tyas to name a few. "I admire these great artists of electronic music who created their own identity, thanks to their exceptional musical production. They exert a real influence on me as a DJ and artist, and this is reflected deeply in my musical choices."

DJ Mike McCarthy sees like an experiment and a reward each smile transmitted by the listeners and dancers. He feels the various atmospheres just as the positive unity which he obtains by exchanging the music with its public. He cannot, in one word, describe the emotions felt: "I love to make the listener clime to the highest emotional and sentimental state so that he can escape in a profound feeling, not to avoid reality, but rather to live an unforgettable moment of ecstasy."

This talented DJ carries in him a gift essential to our evolution: The Music! Moreover, he has an exceptional charisma. His presence on stage distinguishes him by a conscious and intrepid energy, which he shares by knowing how to dance behind his turntables. His inspiration is continual and evolutionary.

On the road, DJ Mike McCarthy advances with great steps and represents a new name on the electronic music scene. This is a small start, but in hope of the big dream, he will be able to climb each level to reach a high ideal.
